SEB BEGINS TO SUSPECT A TERRIBLE TRUTH Phelan makes it clear to Seb that he knows he’s been snooping around. Seb’s unnerved and in a bid to stay out of Phelan’s way he helps Eileen at the cab office but is Phelan onto him?
RANA PUTS SOPHIE OFF After a fruitless meeting with the bank Zeedan tells Rana they’ll have to put their business on hold for now. He asks Robert for his old job back at the bistro. When Sophie admits that she really likes Kate, Rana’s quick to put her off, making out that Kate wouldn’t be interested.
BAD NEWS KEEPS COMING FOR CHESNEY When Chesney invites Henry to the wedding as Gemma’s plus one, Gemma’s thrilled but it’s clear Henry isn’t keen. Tyrone breaks the news to Ches that Cilla’s taken a turn for the worse so neither she nor Fiz will be able to make it. Chesney’s gutted.
ELSEWHERE Craig calls at No.8 with flowers for Bethany. When she invites him round for tea and explains that they’ll have the house to themselves, Craig can’t believe his luck.
Wednesday January 10th
SEB LOOKS FOR AN ESCAPE ROUTE When Eileen spots Phelan’s toolbox she asks him to fix a door. Assuming the gun to be in the toolbox, Seb looks at Phelan with baited breath. Phelan quickly changes the subject and Eileen’s left none the wiser. Unable to take anymore Seb gathers his things, intent on doing a runner. Eileen wants to know what’s going on. Terrified, Seb tells her that Phelan is not who she thinks, he framed Anna for GBH and he’s hiding a gun in his toolbox. Seb runs off leaving Eileen reeling. Deeply concerned Eileen opens her laptop. Anna’s taken aback when a prison officer reveals she’s had an urgent request for a visiting order from Eileen Phelan.
CRAIG CAN’T READ MIXED MESSAGES Craig arrives at No. 8 a bag of nerves. He’s thrilled to see Bethany dressed sexily but bemused when she tells him she’s nipping upstairs to change. Dressed in a tracksuit, Bethany flicks on the TV and settles down. Craig tries to hide his disappointment.
CHESNEY YEARNS FOR A FAMILY Chesney tells Sinead that he plans to take Joseph to the park to scatter Katy’s ashes. Sinead suggests she comes along too but she’s put out to discover they went without her. Chesney tells Sinead he’ll see her at the altar.
ELSEWHERE Gemma reminds Henry about the wedding. Henry feigns enthusiasm.

Why would Chesney be scattering Katie's ashes? Shouldn't her sister Izzie be doing it? And why on earth would he be doing it on his wedding day? Chesney is one weird little fellow.
1. The Gemma/Henry thing....not feeling it.
2. Chesney you idiot, on you're wedding day, really? How hard did he hit himself with the brick anyway?
3. Great acting by Harry V. as the "so terrified I might piss my pants" Seb. Is he going to be victim #5? The rumours earlier in the fall suggested six victims. Careful there Eileen, Seb's warned you.
4.Debbie Rush is leaving the program...Anna will either be sentenced or will die at the hands of Phelan.
5. Bethany what are you doing? Lap dancing apparently...she is not ready for a steady.
Yawn...c'mon Corrie...step up the game!
