What is with the story of Shona's ex demanding her winnings? It's so contrived and baseless. It's like they pick stories out of a hat and try to make them stick to something.

It really is ridiculous. It's also all the more reason for this ditzy dope to not put it in trust for Clayton. She might as well be handing it over to Dane. Even if Clayton kept the money it would be a bad idea, the only thing worse than a criminal is a criminal with money to throw around. Next we'll be hearing he "invested" it in drug dealing or running a brothel.
If she wants to help her son she should offer to pay for him to get an education and that's all.

There are strict conditions to Clayton receiving the money. It's in a trust fund to be given after a minimum of 2 years after his release on condition he remains out of trouble. There are other restrictions too. She sought legal advice from Adam too. By doing this, I feel you were being unfair calling her a "ditzy dope"
