Jack Shepherd, who plays Coronation Street's David Platt, has donated his favourite footwear to the Great Trainer Donation, a campaign raising funds for Mary’s Meals, the official charity of the Tesco Great School Run.
Jessica Ennis, Shane Williams, Fatboy Slim, Peter Crouch, Dame Kelly Holmes, Joe Calzaghe and Colin Jackson are among the other famous names who have also donated their trainers.
The famous trainers will be available from 2nd July through an eBay charity auction that will be going live on the 2nd July 2012.
Proceeds from the auction will go straight to Mary’s Meals (a global movement), which sets up school feeding projects in some of the world's poorest communities, feeding more than 600,000 hungry children in places of education every single school day.
