What a wonderful, wonderful end to the best week of Coronation Street, ever. Anyone else got something in their eye? If anyone's wondering what the song was as Corrie closed tonight, it was U2's All I Want Is You...

I was so pleased that Betty made an appearance!
Ok, so who's the 4...I've got Ashley, Molly and Charlotte, that's 3 by my count.
I was trying to work out who was the fourth, i think it will be peter, hope its not though :/
absolute stroke of geniius by the whole corrie team to close the weeks events wiv U2. it just summed up the entire week up. not a dry eye in the whole country i bet
HATE cheap TV montages. Disappointed that Corrie went that route.
Everything else was perfect.
Some firemen spoke about a random bloke who was crushed in his car yesterday or on Wednesday. Could he be number 4?
boost for Bonos bank balance
The guy in the car could be No.4, but Tyrone could find out who the bloke was who split up his marriage, and fulfil his threat!
Bye bye Kevin....
What happened to the tram driver?
They said he survived
what about the fourth 'funeral' being Sally and Kevin's Marriage?
And the tram driver lived, i think
I don't think they would have an unknown person as the fourth death because the title is 4 funerals and they wouldn't have the corrie residents at an unknown persons funeral. I think peter or possibly sunita but she looked in a stable condition.
I thought the 4 deaths were supposed to be this week though. I reckon it really was the unknown bloke, which kept people on the edge of their seats till the very end
Yeah i thought the 4 deaths where supposed to be this week, but they would of called it 4 deaths and a wedding surely, not 4 funerals and a wedding because they wouldn't film a funeral for a charater not known to anyone. But maybe you are right, maybe it is an unknown person to keep us watching.
Peter will pull through, i'm sure of it. I just can't see them ripping another family member of Ken's away and leaving Simon an orphan. Maybe baby Stape will die? Or maybe that unknown person in the car is a former resident that we might know. I think that's the fourth death, i really do, if Sunita's ok.
And no, i didn't have anything in my eye, i was sobbing buckets at the montage. I know it's usually a hokey type of thing to do but i think in this case, it worked.
sunita is the 4th
Loved the episode, but the music didn't really feel right for me at the end.
Have to agree with Annie -- I thought at the time that it was too Hollywood/American and felt a twinge of disappointment. I did enjoy all the episodes, particularly the live episode, but I've been feeling a bit sad, too, that Corro is changing so abruptly, and is no longer the one I fell in love with. I too hope Peter and Leanne become street stalwarts.
The montage & music worked for me too. Reminded me of some of the corny, yet perfectly pitched scenes I liked about Dr. Who when Phil Collinson was still there. That last episode rounded off the week perfectly - the beginnings of grieving, hope for Peter, the end of the Webster marriage and Rita's cracks at Norris. Took some of the edge off an intense day yesterday. But I still cried buckets at the end.
Oi, when will we Canadians get to see the horribly sad episode!!!!
I'm going on vacation and will be devestated if I miss it!!!
Don't think it will be Peter as he is in the casting list at Christmas. Maybe Fiz and John's baby will die as the forecasy said his life was only going to get worse or considering all the chaos is it not likely they will find Colin Fishwick's body?
In Ireland It was "Forever Young" by Joan Baez that was played over the montage - I have no idea why it was different but the U2 song would have been a million times more fitting and emotional
Charlotte is the fourth you fools, did you all forget about her???
"If i had a hammer"
would have been more appropriate song.
or "last train to san fernando"
maybe "sally in the alley "
