What's the most iconic Corrie prop?

I was glad that most people voted for Coronation Street's Ken and Deirdre Barlow to stick it out. No marriage is a bed of roses all the time, and we all need to sit round the table and have a full and frank discussion now and again. Don't we, Ken and Deirdre?
And my goodness - their dining table has heard more than a few tales of woe. I must say that some of my favourite Corrie scenes have taken place around that table. Especially those with Peter, Simon and the sorely missed Blanche. I love that they still have photos of uncle Albert and Blanche nearby - and on the last episode there was one of Adam. Does anyone happen to know if it is the original table, or recent? And does anyone else have a particular Corrie prop they'd hate to see disappear? Feel free to tell me I need to get a life!

For me, it's Hayley's red anorak. It's never even refered to now, but she always wears it.

In terms of props though, I suppose the tatty chair in the Cab Office has become one of my favourite running gags, so I'll choose that.

Ooh, now I'm thinking of loads of "modern" iconic ones,

Uncle Albert's picture in the Barlow's front room.

Maxine's bench.

The stained glass panels in the Rover's booths that I always think look like a dog's face.

The photo monatges that are hanging in the Rovers.

The bar in the Duckworth's.

The picture at the bottom of Gail's staircase of a white building.

There's loads...

The 'news boy' in front of the Kabin, the railway arch, the infamous coloured stone cladding, and i have always admired the Barlow's dining room furniture; the cabinet with the Staffordshire dog and the lovely parlor table; a pleasant mix of old and new and a lovely remembrance of "Uncle Albert".
I used to like the fake copper heart shaped mould on the Barlow's kitchen wall ( had one just like it) but, like mine, it's probably long gone now...

I was told by a very reliable source that the Barlow's table is the original.
My favourite prop used to be the rude jelly mold that hung in the Barlow's kitchen (not the heart one), but it got so much attention, and letters of disapproval, that it was taken down - even though it was actually nothing more distasteful than a lobster.
I too am very partial to the stained glass panels in the Rovers, especially since a friend made me an exact copy that I have in my living room window, and now use as my website logo.

Hilda's muriel is so iconic it's being referenced today, twenty years after it was painted over.

The stone cladding on the Duckworth's, Roy's shopping bag and Liz McDonald's necklace are all equally fantastic.

All the tiny couches, the booth at the Rovers, and, even though they're not really a prop but part of a set, the most iconic thing, that thing which truly makes a visit to our little corner of Weatherfield special, are the cobbles.

Absolutely agree with the tablie being iconic. I was also rather fond of Ken and Dierdre's "falic jelly moulds" hanging on the kitchen wall.

Yes, I've always been told that the tables and chairs in Barlow's are the only remaining props from the first episode.

Hilda's ducks and her murials must surely be the most iconic Corrie icons of all time.

I liked the rude jelly mould too. Many a giggle over that one! But Hilda's muriel and her ducks have to be at the top of the list

I don't remember the jelly moulds (??traumatised?!) but have been googling them to try to locate a photo. Maybe their disappearance was not just down to "complaints" - apparently, an antique one sold at Bonhams for several hundred quid!! and apparently some people still think it was a lobster ;))

I was going to pick the phallic jelly mould too.
But what about the red telephone in Eileen's house. Apparently, although there have been several different models over the years, the landline phone at No.9 is always red to honour the first racy red one owned by Elsie Tanner.

I used to love the silhouettes on the wall in Emily Bishop's house and the serving hatch at Hilda's. I'm also drawn to the ridiculously small dining table in the Stape's house. If memory serves me right there was also a photo of Annie Walker on the mantlepiece of the Rovers years after she left.

The picture in the front hall in Barlow's hallway of "The Pathfinder" by Ernest Carlos, has been there since Uncle Albert was alive. Wouldn't be the same house without it!!
