It's a family affair
It could be a family affair in more ways than one, if I'm reading between the lines correctly. ITV today says that both of William Roache's sons, Linus and James, will be featured in an upcoming storyline on Coronation Street. In the fall, a "dark family secret" will be discovered. A letter is found during some building work (perhaps Ken is renovating that loft after all?) and it sends Ken on a quest to find out what it all means. Deirdre and Peter don't want the past dragged out of the loft, naturally. Now, my guess is this...We all know how many women Ken has had in the past. Is this going to be a long lost child plot? And if the letter was found in Number 1, why would Albert Tatlock have been the recipient (he owned the house then). I guess we'll find out!

This is a great storyline that ties the 50th anniversary. Looking forward to it!
"Bloomin' 'eck! Some folk are that nosey. That's all folk are good at round 'ere - pokin' their noses in." - Albert Tatlock, 1982.
Must admit, I'm very curious!
And Linus has been in Corrie before hasn't he?
Yes, Linus played Peter Barlow as a child for a brief time
This sounds good!
If Ken lived with Uncle Albert, then it's got to have something to do with Kens 'real' parents or something relating to that - surely?
It makes more sense than it doesn't, so I'm going with that.
Obviously, it was probably something that Kens family was ashamed about, but for whatever reason, was kept secret for so long...
I'm definitely curious though and can't wait to see the outcome :-D
I didn't know Linus was William's son, but he does look like him and the voices are remarkable similar, even with Linus' American accent on Law & Order.
I guess this could work out for Linus considering his Law & Order show was just cancelled.
