Liz Dawn, who played Vera Duckworth for 34 years on Coronation Street, is making her television comeback in a £10million campaign for Premier Foods.
Liz will be fronting a new advert for Ambrosia. Wouldn't it be good if it airs in the half-time slot on Corrie?

Oh good for Vera! She's well enough to work. How about a dream sequence with Jack before Jack character is "retired" permanently from the Cobbles!
Saw her yeserday in the banana brulee ad and am going to make it myself!
must say the banana brulee did look rather yummy, good on you Liz!
Saw Liz at Manchester Piccadilly rail station today. She looks so poorly. I really wanted to go over and give her my best wishes but did not want to bother her as she was obviously in a lot of discomfort. She is such an icon. So unfair that she has got this terrible illness. Take care Liz. My thoughts are with you and your family x x
