When you're watching Coronation Street on Friday 26th March, look out for the Church Inn. It's a pub in Mobberley in Cheshire and features on Corrie tomorrow night.
The pub was home to Jack P Shepherd (David Platt) and Graeme Proctor (Craig Gazey) on Monday, February 8, as they came together to try and find a way to free Gail from jail. Pub owner Stephen Bedford said the pub was a hive of activity, with more than 50 production staff heading down to the village for the one-day shoot.
“It is a wonderful opportunity to be in something like that and be seen by so many millions of people,” he said. “The locations manager phoned up and asked if they could have the pub for a day’s shoot. I have done similar at other places before, so I knew we weren’t on the end of a wind-up.”

The Church Inn pictured here is just outside Mobberley in Cheshire. The Knutsford to Wilmslow road is nearby. I used to go there occasionally when I lived in the UK.
I read your blog daily and enjoy it very much.
Thanks!
Your blog states that the Church Inn in Mobberley is in the Lake District. It is, of course, in Cheshire, as per Michael's comment. Still, at least you didn't say it was in Yorkshire, like where The Guardian said Coronation Street was set, as per your previous blog!
Thanks very much for pointing out the faux pas!
Does anybody no the film location where molly and tyroan had there dinner just before the car crash scene.
