Corrie fan David has emailed in with a link to a wonderful Christmas song that's worth a litle listen. It's Bill Waddington (Percy Sugden’s) 1988 Christmas song Don’t Forget The Old Folks At Christmas. Have a listen to it here.

Oh dear! I managed a minute before I had to give up.
Up there with St Winfreds School Choir and "Grandma" for tackiness which the 80's seemed to spawn.
Does anyone remember Signal Radio presenter Paul Carrington aka The Funster using this in his show in the early 90's?
Probably indirectly gave Bills unknown song more airtime than in 1988 when it was released and promptly forgotten by all and sundry come Jan 1st 1989.
